Our History.
Our group started out in the Lismore region. For a few years we were primarily a cat rescue, but with new faces on board, we have grown and changed. Our current focus is to save working breed dogs and their mixes.
We are a not-for-profit charity created to support our regional pound animals. We've grown considerably since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
Local Animals Are Our Mission!
DM Rescue primarily focuses on working breed dogs and their mixes. We give priority to dogs and cats from pounds on the mid north and north coast of NSW. Our rescue provides foster based care only and cannot accept dogs that cannot be safely housed with other dogs.
